Installation Instructions

Please follow the installation instructions with the same order as depicted bellow.

Run Station_DRV.exe
Run chartdir_com_win32.exe
Copy chartdir.lic at "C:\Program Files\ChartDirector\lib\
Run Setup
Run RegisterOCX-SonicClickMega.exe
Copy the three folders containing the manuals to the InLOT Application Folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\InLOT\)
Replace the InLOT vXXX.exe file located in the InLOT Application Folder with the InLOT vXXX.exe file located in the New Versions folder (if any).
Connect the Base Station device to a free USB port. Wait until the device is properly recognized and installed by Windows.
Run the InLOT vXXX.exe file to launch the InLOT Application.

Please note:
If the updated InLOT Application file has a different name than the original one, you should also update the shortcut in the Windows Start Programs menu with the new name in order to be able to launch the application via this menu.

In order to support the users of the KLiC service (InLOT system and educational material) the consortium has developed an on-line manual that is available in three languages: English, German and Greek in pdf form.

This on-line manual contains a full description of the InLOT system (software and hardware) along with detailed instructions on how to:

• Start and configure the application
• Prepare the devices for the experiments
• Run an experiment and collect data
• End an experiment and store data
• Manipulate the stored data
